He lives on in our hearts #Nelson Mandela

The celebration of a life well spent, the great Madiba passed away yesterday night from a lung infection, at his home in Houghton, Johannesburg on the 5th of November, 2013. He was aged 95.

His excellency, Nelson Rohihlahla Mandela was South African president from 10th May, 1994 to 14th June, 1999 is a source of inspiration to freedom fighters all over the world, mostly to Africa.
Nelson Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary who was imprisoned for 27 years.
He later became a politician and a philantropist after his release in 1990.
He established the Nelson Mandela foundation to combat poverty HIV/AIDS and improve health care services.
Despite a minority of critics who continued to denounce him as a communist sympathiser and terrorist, he gained international acclaim for his activism, having received more than 250 honours, including the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize, the US Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Soviet Order of Lenin, and the Bharat Ratna. He is held in deep respect within South Africa, where he is often referred to by his Xhosa clan name, Madiba, or as Tata ("Father"); he is often described as "the father of the nation". Rest in perfect peace, Madiba! He lives on forever in our hearts...
